My car is a 2009 C2S with PDK. I am having an issue with the toggle shift buttons.
I cannot upshift or downshift with the buttons, but the console shifter works perfectly. I have searched several forums but cannot find anything related to this problem discussed.
The one exception is that the shift buttons do operate from a standstill with upshifts in manual mode, but you still cannot Activate a downshift.
Any ideas or suggestions?

You could try to use restoration services to solve the problem. You can use original steering wheel design or ask for a custom one, here you go porsche steering wheel restoration. I used their services for my 991 model and I could be happier

 

Good chance to upgrade to the paddle shifter steering wheels...just swap over the airbag.
