Ohlins DFV Recall - Ride height

Hey so I've posted in the 996 forum about this issue but didn't want to bombard their forum section with 997 stuff. I had a set of the new struts installed a couple weeks ago but when it came to setting the ride height, the maximum I could lower the front was down to a 2.5 finger gap. This is with their new recommended settings. I've tried 190mm preload And also 195mm preload with no changes. Has Anyone else had the same issues? Keep in mind I was able to get down to tucking the tire with Vorshlag Camber plates because they don't use the Ohlins spring/tophat adapter. With 190mm preload
With 195mm preload
This is before I lowered the shock body into the knuckle and tightened the pinch bolt. Also note the amount of threads showing. If I try lowering the spring(no preload) I run into issues with the endlink brackets wanting to bind...
