Hi since this is my first time owning the Carrera and I'm new to USA,

what range should the insurance quote be in?

I'm getting a used 2005 997 Carrera.

 

That depends on where you live, how old you are, what your driving record is (tickets, accidents etc. ) how many miles a year you drive,how much collision coverage you desire , is it your only car , do you have house insurance with the same company, do you have any teenage drivers in your family...
I'm sure there are a few more I forgot, but you get the idea .

 

As well as what company you are insured with. Check around, get several quotes.

 

I agree. What I pay has nothing to do with you, even if you live next door.

 

Consider getting a daily driver too. Sometimes a second car can lower your rate overall.

 

Yeps get a cheap second car and/or married:P That helps!

Well if you're a selfish man such as myself, I was a millionaire by 25 and I planned on spending everything and being broke by 30. By that time, I could put the wife (get a real smart one) to work and then SHE can pay for my car habbit. I'm sure there are plenty of women that would stand for that! OK parts of that are true... I'm not yet broke lol, the wife is smarter than me, I'm 31 and you can guess the rest
