What would you do?

I have owned my 2005 997.1 for 15 years, longer than I’ve owned any car in my life and I have maintained following manufacturer requirements (and then some). It now has 143000 miles and is completely original visually and mechanically. It even has the original IMS bearing and still runs and performs well. As any car with 143000 miles, it’s time for some significant running gear maintenance, struts, bushings, etc. I still love the car but I am questioning whether I spend the $’s to update the suspension and other mechanical needs on a vehicle that declines in value monthly, what would you do?

Easy, invest in it. It's value stopped going down about 5 years ago. At that mileage, you're to the point where it's worth more to keep it forever than sell it, but it's worth $30k with the current mileage or with 50k more.
