CF and FG probably won't hold up well for typical street driving on a lowered car, poly would be the best material. But seems no one makes anything in poly for aftermarket.

Heck I would just cringe after dropping $1k+ for a FG or CF lip and crack / munge it leaving a driveway. Exterior CF parts tend to yellow / haze after a couple of years.

I agree the previously posted examples look great though- tradeoff for hotness vs. usability.

Yep, me too- even with my "careful 45-degree-angle" approach.. lol

I'd like to find a lip that sits on the front of the lower bumper apron (instead of under) and juts outward at an angle but not lower. Too bad the aftermarket folks aren't getting overly creative with lip designs for 997. The TA-style lip looks "ok" IMO, but considering it's FG I'd probably pick up a cheap ebay knockoff- That way I wouldn't feel so bad after 6 months when it is trashed.

That poly OEM GT3 cup lip I had on my 996 took some serious abuse over the course of a year, and still looked just fine!

Looking at the Cargraphic lip again, it seems about perfect on design- Too bad there is no poly option, and honestly $600 Euros for a small FG lip seems like asking a bit much.

I have the Techart on my car and happy with the durability,if it was fiberglass or CF it would have been trashed by now.
It was not the EXACT look I was looking for but it somewhat fit the requirements.
I was thinking of building my own lip but for now have put it on hold and again it would have to be built out of fiberglass.
