Yup, you are right Eric. I went out and looked at mine and they are like the ones in your picture. They do stick out a little bit though. They are not completely flush like the 996 markers. The lenses themselves have a little protrusion on them. It looks like he has the 996 markers, the lenses are completely flat but the lights are just not completely seated.

The weights are pretty light...roughly 23 for the 20", and 21 for the 19s.
