Standard vs Natural Leather

I've got a 997 TT on order from my dealership set for an August build with a delivery date in late September/early October. I just put in the order today for quite a few options but what I'm really curious about is opinions regarding the differences between standard leather vs natural leather. I was originally set to get black standard leather but then I saw a sample of Natural Grey which looks black to me (not sure why Porsche calls it grey) and feels richer. Not only that, it also looks richer in appearance than the standard leather. I guess that my question to those of you would be which would you guys pick? From sitting in a car with both types, the natural seems to be grippier and feels a bit more supple. Not only that, the grain looks to be a much tighter texture than the standard type. Another issue I wonder about is the durability of either one.

I chose GT silver. I considered getting Natural Brown which would be a much more exotic combination. Natural Grey would be the safe choice.

What do you guys think?

Black/Terra is infamous around these parts
silver with dark red/natural black two tone

would be such an awesome combo that you cant even fathom.

I've seen it at a local dealership and it sold for $10K over sticker.

If you had the courage to order this combo, you'd never regret it.

I have a pic of a similar scheme with terra cotta...let me see if i can find it.

GT Silver over Natural Brown is the all time nicest color combo in the history of the automobile! Well, I don't know about that but it is definately my absolute favorite. Natural brown is the way to go. It is really something in person. You will not regret it. Black is so common. It really adds nothing to the car. Plus, I have seen a GT on Natural Brown and it is absolutely stunning.

Natural gray or brown are both very attractive choices to go with the GT silver. I never liked two-tone anything. Go with the simple elegance.

Great car minds think alike. I don't think you could go wrong with that. Also, have you seen the GT2 for sale in the classified section here? It's that combo. VERY nice.
