how many pistons are the black 997 carrera breaks, how many pistons are the red 997 S breaks, do they differ in stopping power? thanks

 

I think they are the same, They might only differ in the colour of the calipers

They are different besides the color - S brakes have larger, cross-drilled rotors. Not sure of the exact dimensions - maybe 13.0 v. 12.8. Literature also says "The added horsepower of the 911 Carrera S is matched with bigger, more robust four-piston calipers at all four corners. The brakes are derived from the 911 Turbo...".

 

Both have 4 piston calipers

ya my dad has yellow on his 997S they are amazing, deff worth the extra money....

 

PCCBs are great!!! Although red calipers are more than OK i regret not upgrading to PCCBS when i bought my 997
