Finally...
Remember, it's not about total mileage for break-in.
You need to vary the engine speed while doing the break in. Also do some 3/4 throttle runs followed by liftin off to get some oil sucked around the rings. Just cruising on the freeway/highway for 2k miles doesn't really get the job done as well.
