It runs about 3-4 mins slow. Must be made by Patek.

It's a known issue, that I don't think has a fix. I took my in, they replaced my entire radio/CD unit and it still does it.

You may be driving the car so fast that you actually are hitting WARP speed and going back in time a few minutes at a times? Saw this on a TV show once, so it must be possible.

Well, that explains why mine is only slow a few seconds per week.
I'm too chicken to go past WARP 1.5

I found that after delivery the clock was losing a minute a day, i readjusted every other day and seems to have learned now to obey. Perhaps its now educated or the fact i set it ahead two minutes so i only have to adjust it every four days now.

Does your car sometimes appear to look like this?

my cayenne had the same annoying habit; the clock was always running slow every couple of days.

I took it in for some service and recalls and lo and behold, a software update fixed the clock. it's perfect now.

haven't heard of anything similar for our 997's

My Boxster was true to time....
997 clock worked great til I drove out of the Porsche parking lot then we quickly started losing minutes. I tried to trick it too, didnt work for me.
Please dont mess up and go in the car pool lane earlier than the time designated ;-) !!
