HELP c2s cab or c4s cab
I was thinking about the upgrade. I know this has been asked before, but I was hoping to get some more feedback.
Is the sport chrono necessary?
I like the wider body, and the idea of 4 wheel drive. What other upgrades are noted when you go from c2 to c4?
Now seems to be the time discounts are good.
The real issue is that the c4s I like does not have the sport chrono, so what do I do.
And how can the c4s be as quick as the 2s when it weighs so much more? Traction? I don't see much slip on the vids of the 2s.
Other opinions.

From what I know the only difference is the AWD and wider body. I have seen tests where the C4S matches and even beats a C2S to 60 (recent MT?? RS4 v. C4S), but I think 3.9 to 60 for the C2S is the best published time I have seen for either. I think the traction does help but in real world its going to be all about your mad clutch feathering skills. Truthfully in a C4S you can problably wind it up and just dump it.
Personally, unless the two are sitting next to each other, it is hard to tell the difference. I love the widebody as well, but knowing that I don't need it and hearing that the C2S is faster on a track I wouldn't buy it. If you have lots of rain or snow, I wouldn't think twice, go AWD.
And the deals are out there, especially on cabs. Lots of inventory on the ground.

The 4 is a much more balanced drive and super stable in a straight line. Remember that it's not full time 60/40 AWD, only when the power is needed to maintain the grip of the car. I believe in normal day to day driving the front power is as low as 5%.
The C2 on the other hand takes a bit more driver skill to handle if you ask me, especially when driving aggressively or in track situations. It's a lighter, livlier car.'
Sport Chrono is a bit of a gimmick. I think you're better off getting a new air intake and GIAC chip flash. Your throttle response will equal the SC (at the very least).
I don't think the 4S is as quick at the 2S by any means. Maybe in one test by one driver.
If you want a snappy track car, I would also consider the Cayman S.

Depends on how you drive.
If you like to maximum involvement witht the car, drive aggressively often or hit the track with any kind of frequency I'd personally go with the C2S.
If you want a bit more stability or have inclement weather where you live I would take the C4S.
I prefer the 4 and that's what I currently drive. Absolutely zero complaints.
Looking into ordering a Turbo if I can do so without getting jacked by a dealer. May wait for the PDK gearbox as well.

So does anybody like the sport chrono and use it? Do people do every day driving with it set to sport or only at the track?

I think normal hadling should be perfect for the everyday drive cause I think sport hadling is a bit too granitic...anyway it depends in the condition on the road aorund you...I'd go for a C2S...cause I like the RWD too much!

Still deciding. Still need advice. The sport chrono is missing on the car which I perfer. The car without the chrono is not slower it just changes the response of the throttle. Right? WOT is WOT. Right. What else is associated with the sport chrono? Is there a website that defines it. The porsche web site doesn't unless I missed it.
