Agency Power performance upgrades for 997 Carrera

Hey guys Ive been checking out vividracing.com and they seem to have Agency Power performance upgrades for 997 Carrera which consists of After Market muffler and Headers, They state that you gain 10hp with the Muffler and nearly 5 with the headers; The question is has any one used there products and does there quality and sound match Fabspeed, AWE, Techart, Rinspeed etc

I doubt it highly. Agency Power is more of a JDM tuner.

If Powerhouse Amuse had a nice titanium exhaust for the 997/997S, I might go for that, but anything else, I would be skeptical.

If you want an exhaust go with the trusted names you mentioned.

I've ordered many products from Dan for many of my cars and the products have proven themselves.

I have ordered so far 3 K&N Cold Air Intakes ($299), one of the best proven upgrades for the money. I have dynoed my cars and see gains as much as 23RWHP (REAR WHEEL HP, not BHP!) in the midrange and about 10-16RWHP gain at the peak! Every 911 I get will recieve this upgrade!

I ordered the Agency Power exhaust system and will do baseline dynos and after dynos to see the gains. I'll keep you guys updated!

Are you saying that the K&N cold air kit ALONE gave you these increases in power ???
I find that hard to believe at best

BTW, I'll be dynoing another 997 S that I bought the K&N CAI for. I'm a believer, this is my 3rd one. I've tested it on 996's too with success. I won't buy a product if it doesn't deliver whats been promised, I'll even go as far as putting out money to prove if the product works or not for others to see.

I'm not saying the Agency Power isn't good, I am just saying the others are proven. If you end up getting good results from it, great.

The ONLY JDM exhaust I would put on my P-car would be the Powerhouse Amuse titanium. That thing is gorgeous - sexy blue tips... I don't even want to guess how much it costs.

Is this the kit you're talking aobut ?

http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/24313

I agree that the numbers do not lie, however I'm a bit skeptical of simple bolt on's adding that much power. Becasue what that means is that the factory didn't know what they were doing in designing the intake the way they did...
