Not really. I am going to have Steffan change the beep on the arm and disarm. It currently does 2 beeps for armed and 1 for disarm. I think that should be reversed.

Sounds silly, but the best thing about the mod is the one touch is corrected on the pass side window.

Thank you ,
but I am not worried about how it's installed.
I would like to know if there are any problems with the CAR'S electronics
after this gizmo is connected to it .

Has anyone actually installed it ? Does it work as advertised ?

There was a thread a while back about a " hardtop fix " from the same company and there were some issues after the installation.

I just installed it and it works as advertised. Neat!!
If you get it you must mount the module on the left side, wires are short, be careful! Put taps on the left side on wires or as close as possible, the electrical wires supplied are short!

These are the sort of problems that make me nervous, plus possibly having to remove it when taking the car in for service (warranty).

For the routine services you do not need to remove it since it has a ghost mode where all the functions disappear and the thing becomes passive to the diagnose machine. I hope I am not wrong on this, this is what I understand from ghost mode.

This is what they say. They do say however to remove before work to be safe, I assume to not be seen visually if work has to be done!!

If you have warranty work that involves the Porsche module that controls the alarm, windows, locks, etc. then I would remove. Anything else, I agree, why take it out?
