Need some advice on if I should change my tires

Just exchanged my 2004 triptronic 996 for a 2005 997S Stick. The car had low mileage and came with the OEM Pirelli. Track days are just about to start where I live and I was wondering if I need to change the tires.

I have heard that it is not good to run old tires and these are 04 production.

As I only have around 10 track days under my belt I am not sure it would be advisable to make the switch to MPSC.

Would appreciate advice from experienced Track Dayers on if I should swap em out for new PS2s or just run these till they wear out. I am especially worried as summers are hot here in Dubai and I have heard that you should not keep tires for long in such weather due to the effect of heat on rubber etc. Wouldnt want tire failure on the track.

Not the heat but ultra violet light breaks down the rubber.
