Clutch Pedal Vibrations While Shifting
Clutch Pedal Vibrations While Shifting
This has been discussed on rennlist for some time now but I wanted to ask here if anyone has experienced the clutch pedal vibration issue which occurs at rpms over 3000 while depressing the clutch pedal. This is effecting brand new 997's (like mine) right off the showroom floor. This also occured with brand new 996's, 996TT and Boxster S's. Has anyone had their dealer isolate and fix the source of the vibration? From what I've read so far it's been reported as normal "they all do that" and air needing to be bled from the hydraulic lines, or slightly uneven clutch fingers which will wear in during break-in. I've owned lots of 911 and out of the flock only two new ones have had this problem so I'd venture to say it's not normal.
