I have been going back and forth with the idea of upgrading to a 997 now, or waiting for about 1 year and than getting a facelifted 997. I think I have a buyer for my car and I have found an 06 I like.

What to do

 

What do you mean by facelifted? Are you simply going to swap front ends with a 997? I have seen several conversion p cars in the past and I am not a bir fan because anyone who looks inside can tell its not original.

 

I've seen the spy photos, and the current 997 looks better, in my opinion. New facelifted 997 looks a bit busy and not as clean. I just got a 997 4S and this is one awesome car. 4 track days in the first 4 months and it's a significant improvement over the 996.

 

Can you direct me to the spy shots of the facelifted 997.

I have seen it said here before and I totally agree...there will always be another new version, update, etc., around the corner and you will make yourself nuts if you keep chasing it (in my opinion at least)...I personally would get what I want and can afford and enjoy as much time in it as I can.
