Tight fit on the narrow 997 though... unless you buy replicas in correct size...

The GT3 Rims are narrowbody; you would need spacers for wideboyd (c4/c4s/turbo). You might be thinking about the GT3-RS which is based on the widebody porsche.

The GT3 uses the narrow body. The rear wheels are 19x12 with a 68mm offset.
The RS uses the wide body. The rear wheels are 19x12 with a 51mm offset.

The fronts for both cars are 8.5x19 with 53mm offset.

zona is correct. The Gt3 is a narrow body while the GT3RS is a widebody. The GT3 (narrow body) uses a 5mm spacers on the back wheels from the factory.
