Porsche made its name with endurance racing. Sure the 911s are fast in a straught line, but have very little low end torque.

I have raced several Corvettes and Mustangs on road courses with different venues HSR, SCCA etc. The advantage always goes to the Porsche. Others have problems with brake fade etc. Its hard to come up with which is better on the street.
