Hmm, the straight rear shot looks ok i guess, but the other angles just highlight that this wasn't a good idea IMO.

Anyone else think that the contrast makes the tails look like 'eyes' and turns the rear into what could be the front of a car (kinda reminds me of an audi blend of tt & r8)?

 

I really HATE smoked tail lights on any car... maybe except the '95 Ford F150s... lol
and i'd like to add it looks like what Snoop would drive!!! hahaha

I am a fan of smoked taillights (even had mine tinted for a while); but IMO they don't look that good on carmon red.

It would look better on a black 997 or the carmon 997 above would look better if only the white part of the taillights are tinted.

 

Tha would be exactly my choice on any 997 in any colour...except for this carmon red.
IMO there's too much difference between front and back of the car...

 

Those tail lights and carmon red do not mix, thats just not the right color to smoke the lights.

 

yeah, not realy feeling the smoked lights, nor have i ever been a big fan of porsche tan interiors. always good to see what other people do though.. thanks

The front looks really nice!

 

those tail lights look like they are dirty inside and like they sit in sun for a couple of years

And I really dislike Carmon red on top of that!

 

I also agree... Smoked tail lights look cheap and tasteless.

 

I prefer pink!!!
