Hello All
Hello All
Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kevin Hines and I am a technician at Brandywine Porsche in Newtown Square, PA. I have been there for alomst five years now, and have developed a great appreciation for these cars and the community surrounding them. We are a high volume dealership, so even though five years doesnt sound to terribly much, I have gained a lot of experience, and have developed great relationships with those in PCNA and also my clients. I am a car nut myself, so I think I may just fit in here. I like to think of myself as a "mod friendly" tech, as I also modify my own cars. I am here to help if I can, in any way, so please, dont hesitate ta ask anything.

Hi Kevin - it's great having a tech on here! waiting for my TT to arrive and first mods will be wheels (leaning towards Kinesis F110's) and exhaust. Will wait a bit to do an ECU as my E55 was modded and I know the hassle that potentially exists with mods LOL.
Something else i'm thinking of is lowering springs. I know lots of guys have done it but wanted your take on it with regards to the PASM. Any insight or thoughts?
Thanks

About the springs, I have installed H&R springs on a client's 997S equipped with PASM, performed a more sport oriented alignment, and he loves it, actually a member here (crisfromcali). The PASM will not be effected by the spring install in any way. Also, if you caught the post by Mike from AWE, last weekend we worked together to remove the PASM system altogether so that they could install the Moton coil-over system on their demo car.
I have driven a 997 turbo with both a GIAC flash and exhaust, and I must say WOOOOOW, absolutely incredible difference.
I am also currently working with AWE on disabling the warning light for the tire pressure monitoring system, because as some of you know, this can be annoying when you install aftermarket wheels. We will keep everyone posted.
Yep - I can vouch for Kevin's work (and he came in on Saturday to do it!).
I am very happy with Brandywine's prices/attitude toward mods/etc. Kevin - I'll call you when I need to get the A3 dropped and aligned.
