I am anxious to hear more about this. Since the electronic switch will move the damper settings between only two settings, which, I assume will be full soft and full firm, it seems this will result in relatively extreme settings. If the PSS9 adjustment range is similar to the Koni dampers, it will be cushy to bone-jarring. But maybe the Bilsteins are designed to replicate the PASM damping range. I don't plan on lowering mine, but this will be interesting to see develop.

I had to have a ton of stuff done to mine at the same time as having the PSS9s installed... but I'll let everyone know what I think as soon as I get the car back. Probably in a week or so.
how are the pss9's?

Just wondering, do these pss9 work well with pasm?
I am thinking of getting these since these are the only pasm compatible coilovers (that I know)

I just had my first track event with the 997S. Although this is my first Porsche, I have been doing DE events for 5 or 6 years, with both an M3 and a ZO6. I don't mean to throw cold water on anyone's plans for a coilover suspension. But, I'll be honest, unless you are a very high level driver, the OE suspension in these cars is extremely capable. I left PSM on, and I'm not sure it engaged the entire weekend, including a couple of times when I intentionally got the car loose. It has a bit more power-on understeer in mid-corner than I would prefer, but it's easy to manage, and probably doesn't slow me down at all. If you just want the car lower, a coilover setup is one way to do it. But, if you are after better handling, I'm not sure it's worth it. I'm a middle-of-the-pack advanced group driver, and the car is better than I am.

Best,
I agree with you, but I have the PSS9s for PASM and they work great during hard street driving (I'm in the NC mountains... awesome roads). I have my first track day Monday with the kit and I'll let you know how it comes out....
