I bought a Evo Intake for my 3.4L 996 and I have been very happy with the fit and finish of the product, some even think the intake is stock until they see that massive air filter. I also have the ECU upgrade which I really love, and as far as any computer can tell at the dealer the ECU is stock.

I never dealt with Evo directly, and mainly been through Sharky's. Great service.

I recommend EVOMS to anyone who will listen, as well as the guys at Imagine Auto in Kansas City who did my installation. Both are simply phenomenal in my opinion.
my experience with evo was not good i tried to buy an intake from them about10 times and was always told they[the sales rep]were in a meeting, however while dealing with there distributer www.rpmnorth.com i had nothing short of an excelent expirience.
which brings me to my question.i just had my evo sc installed and it,s friggin fast i mean it's really fast....... BUT it's noisy as hell it sounds like
something is scraping metal against metal but only at idle or just a bit above idle once i'm moving it's good no crazy noises just raw power.
is yours the same way
as for quality ....man my short shifter is so smooth it feels better than my stock shifter, and my strut braces look great can't say i feel much difrence in handeling however i recived my car on sat. and sadley had to go away on sun.morning which means i only drove a couple of hours.when i get back i intend to drive the sh** out of it at which time i will take pics and post some comments.
p.s. thanks guys at www.rpmnorth.com you guys get two thumbs up for your costumer service

Kuwait .. I haven't found any installers I would trust with my car for installing the air intake!

Same here, Okay you could install the supercharger by your self but the problem is who will tune it for you , I am thinking the same thing in a year maybe; couldnt find an allocation for a 997TT 1 1/2 year waiting list supposedly Porsche Kuwait thinks 8 is enough in a year, so there is a slim chance 997 C4S manual with a Supercharger and full bolt ons.

The unit comes tuned from EVO .. I don't think you would need to create new maps.

NYSeal, your car looks amazing, the guys at RPM said you had an exceptional 997 and they were right. Secondly, I spoke to Anthony and Erik yesterday in regards to your noise issue. They should be giving you a call in regards to that. I feel that it is something very simple and they are going to handle it for you. I am very glad to hear that you are happy with the kit. You are part of a very elite group right now, that being 997 C4S supercharger owners. I am glad that you are happy with the performance of the kit and we will most certainly get that noise issue handled ASAP.

LOL, if it makes you feel better your car is featured on our EVO Built section! That to me shows that your money was well spent. Check it out if haven't already:

MexicoBlue, you should get some sort of CPM deal for people clicking and viewing your build That way you can easily recoup some of your costs. Just get everyone at 6speed to go click on it

Sorry you had a bad experience...sometimes things just go wrong...and it sucks...no way around it!

I am almost positive that it is something very simple. Now here is a guy who truly appreciates performance. Don't get me wrong, I think our superchargers are pretty nice, but beating out sex with 2 strippers, I don't know about all that. Glad you are happy, let me know if you need anything else.

Nate,
I am very dissapointed. I was not offered the 2 stripper deal last time I went in there. What gives? (I am off to start an Evo customer service complaint thread)
