I wasnt aware that this was a Porsche factory option, but 1000 eur is expensive! You can do it aftermarket in the states for about $600 (450 eur)

Are you shooting for a particular color/finish? We paint them regularly with a technique that builds quite heavily...not just a spray or two. Might be another option. Just wondering what you are attempting to achieve looks-wise with powdercoating.

I had my wheels painted black. They are great. For wheels paint is the way to go for me because I would have had to wait 6 months or more on Maui. Also I have heard powdercoating weakens the wheels. I am no expert but if you want I can post pics. Thanks Trovan now please find me a set of black GT3 wheels.

Aloha

I have heard pros and cons about powder coating. It has been discussed here and you should probably do a search. I presume painting is the way to go if you ask me because all the wheels I see from manufacturers come painted. Plus on Maui there is only one powder coater and 6 months wait at least.
Remember opinions are like a$$holes and everyone has one including me.
