Multi function steering wheel

Is it possible to retrofit the multi function steering wheel at the dealer? Thanks. Considering a C4S and that's the only option that's missing that I wanted.

I have this option on my C4S and never use it. It's not very intuitive in my opinion

I actually enjoy mine, the audio controls alone are worth it IMO. It also looks better than the OEM wheel which reminds me of a VW bug wheel.

I actually use mine all the time and consider it a must-have option. I've had many compliments on the carbon fiber steering wheel.
Definitely do it.

I find it more "intuitive" than fiddling with the ***** and buttons on the center console while trying to keep my eyes on the road and hands on the steering wheel .

I consider it the most useful option I have in the car .

Only downside for me is the thickness. It should have been sportier in my opinion. There are some who like it the way it is but after driving with a sport steering wheel equipped Carrera and a Techart modified MFSW, it is not my cup of tea. I prefer to lose the buttons rather than have a thin steering wheel.

There is an alternative which I got. Option code XPA. It is the thick version of the MFSW. Looks great and has the functions and is thick.

I hardly ever use mine, I have to agree with the non-intuitive comments. As the name implies, the buttons are not static buttons, they do different things depending on what is displayed on the nav screen. Even then, just because you are on the audio screen it doesn't mean that you can change tracks with the right wheel. You have to go to the specific track list page to use the wheel to change tracks. Royal PITA. I believe the only button that always stays the same regardless of mode is the vol/mute wheel.

Hmm..... I find the ones on my E55 and soon be mine 335xi pretty handy. My hands are extremely small so I really don't care for thin steering wheel, LOL.
