997 Carrera Sport Exhaust or Carrera S Tip

Members,

I m looking for 997 Carrera S dual tip or Sport Exhaust. I wish I can afford a fabspeed or anyother aftermarket exhaust but cant at the moment. i currently own 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera and dont like the look of the exhaust and would like to change it to the dual exhaust. Anyone have one for sale?

PSE is the sports exhaust tips you asked about. the outer one is slightly larger than the inner one.

u should try the fabspeed bypass pipes (about 350$) plus you save alot of weight in the back. Beware though, they are really loud and aggressive sounding..

You should check with your local dealer &/or Porsche Club to see if anyone has updated their exhaust system. They might just give you the 997S tips or sell them. Rather than spend $500 for the chrome tips, you can have them polished or chrome plated for a tenth of the cost

You can not add the PSE tips to any exhaust other than PSE because they really are not tip but 2 different tubes comming out of the PSE muffler.

I think I read somewhere think you'll need some type of adapter to mount them to a non-S muffler assembly. I could be wrong but thats my recollection.

Good luck w/ them in any event.
