What makes 997c2 win over SL500 ?

As i know SL more comfy, hardtop convertible, more Hp, 0-60 about the same, and also less issues of system failure.

I know no matter what Porsche is a porsche, but i need some knowledge b4 i bought that hot *** home.

So i not buying something just for the emblem.

Any expert can explain this ?
What makes us proud with 997c2 over SL500

997c2 is way faster then an sl500.

 

The SL500 that Lontong listed is actually SL550. SL550 has a pretty gd power. Especially in a st8 line race..

 

Lontong, kalo bandingin 997 and SL500, 997 yg lebih bagus.
di indo adanya SL500 bukan SL550 kan?
gua udah pernah coba SL55 and C4S, memang 2 mobil itu diatas 2 mobil yg loe pilih.
kalo handling and nyetir Porsche mantep deh. tapi kalo lu milih SL55, gua pilih itu daripada 997.

it depends what you want a sports car, or a gt. I would go for the 997.

Honestly i can't feel what's the diff between sport car or GT. I think both is great. I dont track more, and love convertible. So it will be SL for next

It's SLOWER than a 911, it weighs in excess of 4,100 lbs, it depreciates in value faster than any $100k car I've ever seen, the steering feel is a joke, the engine sounds like a diesel truck, the top can't be put down while in motion due to state laws, it handles like crap compared to a 911, doesn't have back seat cargo space (does have some compartments back there), not available with AWD, NOT A SPORTS CAR!!!



911 is better in every single way except it might not be as "luxurious". Fortunately, a 911 still offers every comfort you need.



Oh, and 911s hold their value much better.




Fortunately for you, you can buy an SL55 for $60k. Now that might be a tough one....




PLEASE DON'T GET AN SL500 or 550!!!! You will regret it.
