There are tons of very happy Evoms customers on here and you do seem to be one of the few exceptions. I cannot comment on your case because I don't know the details, but no company is going to offer a warranty when you sell the product to someone else.
Just enjoy your new 997 and keep it stock!

Sorry guys but I do not see how you can defend them (Evoms), one or two mistakes I can get over but not the multiple ones that this guy has had. Of course there are 2 sides to every story but they have had ample oppurtunity to chime in. I agree about the warranty however, once the SC is uninstalled and sold than the new buyer has to deal with it IMO
I would not deal with them either, I stated in another thread that I had left multiple messages now going on 2 weeks and still NO phone call, maybe they give you local guys better service but IMO I don't blame Paris for *****ing, I would never use them either.
Call Alex (Sharky) for the Evom stuff, he helped me out 100 times better than they did!!!!

I will repeat my previous statement about there are some customers you do not want to have.
To everyone else who thinks that aftermarket vendors should warranty parts when transferred to another vehicle.....WAKE THE F#$& UP! It is standard operating procedure to invalidate warranties for parts when moved. I challenge any of you to call up 10 sponsors and ask if they would honor warranties on their parts if they had been transfered to another car. You will find the number is small if any at all.
There is just too much Gen Y "everyone owes me something" crap on here. I generally keep to myself and don't post much, but I'm the point where if I read another "entitlement" opinion I feel like punching someone in the mouth. There are very few situations in life where someone else OWES you anything, or is OBLIGATED to do jack crap for you.
If you read the terms of a warranty and don't like it, don't buy the product. Otherwise, STFU! If you didn't read the terms and are now mad and think the seller OWES you something, TOO F#$%ING BAD!
Its the same as the dip**** who spills coffee on himself and then thinks McDonalds OWES him because he's too f#$%ing stupid to not spill hot coffee on himself.

Here is the other side to this story:
There are a couple of reasons why Paris' supercharger system did not work out for him. First, there were some installation issues that needed to be addressed that were not. One issue was that we made a bracket update on our 997 S Supercharger system that Paris did not receive because he ordered his kit before we made the update. Secondly, and most importantly, the ECU was never programmed with the ECU tuning for the supercharger system. If you do a search and find the previous 2 threads that Paris started regarding this you will see that I tried to do everything in my power to get these two issues addressed. I guaranteed Paris that if he gave me one day I would be able to get him everything he needed to get his car on the road. Instead of accepting my help, Paris decided to sell his car, buy a new 997, transfer his EVOMS Stage 4 to the new car, and sell the supercharger on his own.
In terms of Supercharger warranty, here is how it works. Our supercharger systems come with a 2 year limited warranty valid only on the first car the kit is installed on. So you can sell the car 100X and the kit will still be under warranty. However, if you un-install the kit and re-install it on another car, the warranty will be void. The reason for this is that the kit is designed to be installed on one car. If the kit is un-installed there are some components that will most certainly be damaged or totally destroyed. Those components are critical to the supercharger functioning correctly and could cause a catastrophic failure if damaged. Now keep in mind that we don't make that rule, it is made by VF-Engineering (our tuning partner in the supercharger) and Vortech the supercharger manufacturer. This rule isn't there to take advantage of our customers, it is there to make sure that our reputation and product line is protected.
The whole supercharger side of this ordeal has not been a customer service issue, it has been a customer issue. We tried very hard to get this issue resolved for Paris so that he didn't have to take the kit off of the car. He chose to not take our help or advise. And now he is make us seem like the bad guys because he can't get what he wants when he wants it. Now in all fairness Paris does have some legitimate complaints about his previous orders. I can't deny that our shippers royally screwed up all of his orders. For that I greatly apologize. However in terms of this supercharger we did everything that we could do. I would guess that the majority of you would give us at least the opportunity to fix any issues you had with our product before you took it off and just gave up on the whole deal. Especially when you are talking about a $12K component. The kit would have worked on his car, I guarantee it. I have 10 systems installed between Japan, China, UK, Buenas Aires, Phillipines, and Mexico so I know that our kit works on all types of Euro cars. That is basically the other side to this story.
