Exclamation Dont Buy Evoms Performance Parts Used...you Dont Have Warranty!!!

Hi! as many of you know I had so many problems with Evoms....specially with my SC for my 997s.
The kit was is the car for only 100km....like 60miles...
Nate from Evoms always told me that the kit was perfect....but here in Buenos Aires doesnt work right....maybe is a installation problem...

I decided to sell the kit to a member of 6Speed...who call them like 5 times because of the warranty but anybody asnwer...

So I send a Email to them ansking about the warranty.....thats the answer...

Paris, the warranty on the supercharger kit is only for the first owner. By selling the kit the next owner would not get the warranty. Also, please note that who ever buys your supercharger will have to re-purchase the programming for the supercharger. That runs $1500 US. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Given your situation, you would think they would take care of the new owner.

....are you kidding me!! This is a classic case of VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

--What does that say about their products?
--I would expect ANY product to be covered regardless of the owner, as long as it is within the timeframe!
--This might be UNLAWFUL.
--THIS WILL STOP ME FROM BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM.

Someone in that chop-shop better start explaining.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

given your situation and case, they should uphold the warranty on their part to prove their point. By denying it, it seems like they are taking the short route out (or in hindi they would say PATLI GALI SE NIKAL GIYA)!!!!!!

I am really sorry to hear about your troubles, but hope the new car is serving you correctly.

I agree Raja, denying warranty seems like they don't believe in their product enough and indirectly accepts the fact that they have a flawed product in their hands.

Guys it would make perfect sense that aftermarket parts do not have transferable warranties even more so with new installers now handling the parts again; who knows what can happen during an un-install and then a re-install on another car, shiping from the previous owner, ect?
I don't know sounds like to many cooks in the kitchen to me!

It's standard procedure for aftermarket parts warrantees to only apply to the original buyer. It's pretty rare that a manufacturer will transfer the warrantee to a second owner. Also, not to be a jerk, but I seem to remember you bashing them on here before they had a chance to defend themselves. When companies see that they are generally less inclined to make exceptions to their policies for you.
