Coilover VS Springs
Coilover VS Springs
Hey guys,
Couple of questions. After staring at my car I realized that it definitely could be lower. That being said, which do you recommend and why. Keep in mind I will rarely see the track, but would rather spend the money to properly do something rather than shortcutting it.
Secondly, can anyone recommend the best place to purchase the Bilsteins PSS-9? When are the 10s coming out?
Finally, please provide your impression on the differences you experienced in real world driving between stock and new suspension.
Thanks much.

If cost isn't an issue, by all means go with coilovers. The ride characteristics are much better for street and track. If you have PASM, the Bilstein PSS coilovers retain the normal/sport function and are light years better than lowering springs, particularly on the track.
Search the forum and you'll find lots of info.

Expect to blow out your shocks with lowering springs. PSS (can't say 9 if this is for a PASM car as they aren't 9-way adjustable) is reported to be a great suspension for track use. If this is a street car, then enjoy it as it is!
