Thought some might be interested in this. A local dealership is doing these conversions. They give you the X51 headers, they modify the stock cans and give you the GT3 tips, the GT3 rear bumper and front bumper painted & installed for $12k Cdn. Seems a little steep to me..

Seems like you should get better mufflers than stock mufflers.

 

2nd. I actually like the 997S rear better. Not a fan of the GT3 center exhaust.

Looks a little too Boxsterish for my taste.

 

I do prefer the looks of the standard exhaust.. center exhaust is yes.. boxterish.

Looks weak IMO...those rear tips look so small. I think quad exhaust is much sexier.

 

stick with the stock exhaust my friend... but i do like the front bumper.

Thanks for the suggestions but I just posted this for curiosity's sake. I already have the AWE mufflers installed with AWE cats and X51 headers on their way.. I'd like to add the GT3/sport design front bumper but the stock bumper already scrapes the ground too frequently.

BTW in case there's any confusion, they quoted $12k Cdn ($11,400 US at today's rate) for the exhaust, painted to match front and rear GT3 bumpers and labour to install everything. I agree the tips look undramatic, but they are the factory GT3 tips.
