Well-I finally got her here. I sent deposit almost a month ago and have been waiting it seems forever to finally get her.
Although there were a few things that were not disclosed by the dealer about the car(nothing some TLC can fix and some warranty work)-I got a fair deal and ended up trading my S4 also. Dealer is Utah, about 2600 miles away from me.
Sooo, with out a doubt I present my new to me, dream car-
Launch 997--Ceramic brakes, sport crono, full leather, nav, sport seats, short shift and a partrige in a pear tree.




Yeahh i know the pics are terrible but I will do a photo shoot this weekend.
I already got the windows tinted and got the clear markers. I also ordered a week ago a Fabspeed Exhaust, Fabspeed tips, H&R springs, GT3 cup bumper with insert and Rennworxx wheels with Ps2 tires.
I am going to get the 3m bra put on after I get the new bumper put on and plan on doing a oil change and get one small ding removed.

I am so stoked about the car and feel blessed that I was able to finally get one of my dream cars..
This weekend the wheels come in and next week i should have the rest of the parts on. I plan on taking some photos inbetween and share the progress of my new project..

Well, I am getting used to the car right now and have not really opened her up. I had a AWD and now going back to a RWD I got to get some practice. The only thing I really dont like is the navigation. I was spoiled in my audi, or maybe just really used to operating it.
I plan on actually going to the track with this car. I have a friend with a s2000 who is always going up to Gainesville for track meets.
Overall the car is freaking amazing. I really feel blessed to have one. I cant wait to get more aquainted and then open here up. I need to personalize it a little also, put a little more "unique" to it and then voilla.

I wish there was some porsche guys here I could meet up with or some enthusiast. I am sure if I go to "cars and coffee" this weekend I will prob. meet some then.

That is one KILLER car you have there...and its shows in your post that you REALLY appreciate it and realize how lucky you are to have a car like that. I would like to think thats how ill be when when my Pcar comes in

ok, one question. I would like to make sure my beauty does not get messed with but I cannot ever tell if she is locked or not. It came with a lojack which I am not sure if it even works, but because the car does not beep when you lock it i can never tell if it is(locked). Did you guys get an alarm for it or is there a way to make it beep for ya
