Mod 2 !

I just ordered a new C2S, I am looking for more than bolt on's . The only way too Mod a NA Car is porting and Cam update. Curious is this out there? I know people would say just buy a Turbo? I am looking for a sleeper 450 HP, is it possible? Thanks, Carl

To build that kind of hp is going to require more rpm and would probably cost more than just getting a GT3. The GT3 is only 3.6l but it spins to 8400rpm, a stock S goes to 7300rpm and the X51 will go to 7450. Contact FVD, they have some new Schrick cams coming out and I would go the X51 route as far as a new intake, throttle body, intake distribution tubes, and the heads have already been cleaned up a bit and such. I would imagine a X51 kit with warmer bumpsticks could get up into the 400 range. If you run 100 octane race gas with the DME tuned for it you can probably get in the 415 range. 450 hp out of 3.8L N/A is going to take some work....70hp more than the X51...the kind of money you will sink into this..I say GT3.

Agreed! I know he said no to it, but I don't see it happening without the blower. Curious why you wouldn't want it? It has left mine still feeling like a Porsche motor, but stronger. I have 18k on mine since the SC. It's been wonderful.

Looks like most likely a Super Charger will go on, after weighing the options. To start I am thinking of Header's. 200 Cell Cats, Fabspeed Muffler By pass pipes, tune, Intake, Supercharger next, thanks Carl

Why intially I did not want a blower. Growing up I always loved the Na 911, I think the turbo came out in early 80's, too me I am buying History. I used to own a C6ZO6, I liked the 427 History, great car. The 911 S to me will be the same thing, but Porsche History, I hope this makes sense!

At the Paris Auto Show during the height of the oil crisis, Porsche presents the 911Turbo – the world’s first production sports car with exhaust turbocharger and pressure regulator.

Best of luck Carl

Supercharger. Drives almost like built NA engine. Retains "sleeper" narrow body. 500+ hp.
