Is A 2006 911 Still New???
So as the title says...I find this car, new car never titled on a dealer lot. Has many goodies optioned and is pretty much all I could want for my first Porsche. What I love is the discount also...$25k off a $112k sticker.
But is this really a new car anymore--being that it's really almost 2 years old? Also, what damage does a car suffer sitting in a dealer lot for that long?
Should I just wait a month or two and buy a discounted 2007? The 2006 is tempting and they might deal even further.
I've posted a link and would love some feedback from you pros.

With at least 25k off the msrp and full warranty, I'd say go for it.
Then again, I bought my 2006 911 S Cab in May for a similar discount.
My issue is the long list of options on that car - it really has a fantastic upgrade list. If it had X51, I'd say grab it and run!

I saw this car in person when I picked up my CPO'd C2S a few weeks ago, VERY NICE.
I'm not sure if Garth Jones (who sold me my car) still works there, I heard he's leaving, but give him a call if you're interested, maybe they can work with you more on the price as it's obviously been on the lot for awhile.

yeah man kinda hard to pass that up...full warranty as if it was an 07...go for it! You have not much to lose..unless you sell it quickly. If you plan on keeping it...and keeping it for awhile its a great buy.
That is a very nice deal, but I agree with mal28 somewhat so proceed with caution. Very nice looking car!!!

Probably because the market for a $112k Carrera off the lot is very small, and no one liked the wheels or something. Now it's just old, so no one wants to look at it. You can get an 07 for the current offering price, also, so talk them down a little more. (Though not with that many options, but most people who buy a car like that off the lot probably care more about the year than the auto-dimming mirrors.)
i dont see full leather on the option list. but the photo would suggest full leather. (very important option in my opinion).
Anyway, looks like a great car. it would be perfect if you can get 30K off, and make sure the car is not in service and you have 4 years left on the warranty.
if you don't act fast, i may actually take it away from you!!

I know that they've had that one for a while and if I best recall it could have come in from another dealer. I'd probably venture in saying that you can get $30k off. For some reason the folks at Pioneer tend to order these high price spec'd cars which wind up sitting there for a while.
