Final Question Before Purchase :)
I drive in stop and go traffic all the way to work daily in my C2S, which is six speed. One of the things that makes my commute tolerable is doing a couple 6-4 downshifts to pass (not that I need to downshift, I just think it's fun), and the 6-3 or 6-2 downshift at the exit ramps. A Tip may be faster-shifting than doing it yourself, but doing it yourself is part of the magic of the car.
I think RonCT has it right.
Figure out where your pleasure driving takes place and what makes you happy.
I live in Dallas and only get to hammer the car on straight roads. My CL55 excels at that experience. 0 to 60 in 4.1 for a 4,200 pound car ... new PS2's every 5k miles BUT, the torque is incredible (530 ft/lbs). I've got an asp pulley that yields the torque and 450 rwhp.
Last month I was back in CT for a few days and recognized very quickly that if I lived back there again, I'd be driving a 911T.
IMO, it all comes down to what type of roads you drive.
