Lowering springs on PASM 997S...
You can see the first photo I took 8/2006 he just lower with spring.

Second photo at the Milk Run 8/2007 you can see there's no gap. We notice just one year old the car drop another .75", His front lower lip height off the ground is 3.75" my front lower lip height off the ground is 4.5". Alex/James @ SharkWerks have my setup same height as GT3.

Do it right once and get the Bilstein coilovers. Your car is too expensive to mess around with half-*** modifications like springs. The only reason I went with springs was because it was the only option available at the time.
I would agree with you other than the fact that the Bilstein kit lowers the car too much. The minimum drop is 1.25" with this kit I believe. This is way to low for a car that is challenged by even the most modest of driveway's at least IMHO. That's why I like the TechArt springs...they don't really lower the car that much but give it a nicer rake with taking just a tad of the gap that exists.

+100% agreed with you Dave! The problem I see here everybody said I have Eibach, H&R, Techart, RUF, Cargraphic, Champion spring "with no issues here or very happy". That because all of you guys still have less than 25K miles, let me see when you have that spring on after 25K miles. I watch this board over a year, I also notice all the old timer
(over 300 post) most of them switch from the spring to PSS/ PASM. That’s why I sold my spring & has the PSS/ PASM install. But if you guys plant to sale the car before the 20K, go for it that's the cheep way to go. My 2 cents
My advice is this guys...if your car is newer and you want to do the springs only.. do it. Just be ready to replace the shocks at the 20-25k mile point if you want to keep maximum dampening, the shocks will still work after this but they really have probably given up the ghost. If and when you have to replace the shocks, now would be a good time to go with the Bilstein kit if you would like, or just get new OEM shocks for the next 25k miles. BTW, I think the stock shocks with the stock springs will probably give up the ghost in the 30k range. This is all normal btw, the only way around this is to go with an adjustable shock like a Koni DA that you can tighten on your own every 20k miles or so to adjust for wear, but you would have to ditch PASM.

Hey, I just started reading this thread, but I had the H&R lowering springs on a 997S and they were fine. Then I started tracking the car and upgraded to the Bilstien kit, which I think is great. Anyway, I have the H&R springs sitting in my garage. I bet my wife would be happy if someone wanted them. $100? PM me.
No way. Did I really? I didn't read all of the pages. Crap.
You know what, on top of that, I can't find them!

guys thank you for all these info. I got different issue with my car but hope I get an answer here.
I lowered my C2S with RUF springs but (FRONT) left side is little bit lower than the right side (REAR) even. anybody know why is that ?

Hopefully, when you find out what it is, you'll let us know. Take care.
Possibly not sitting correct-the spring is not in the seat correctly. Should be able to lift the car with wheels hanging and turn spring to seat it correctly. Was car alligned after spring install? Inspect your shocks but it is highly unlikely they are gone already-your car is very new and your shocks should last a lot longer even with the small drop from the Techart. Only othe explanation would be defective shock or spring...
Just a thought, could one of the springs be put on "upside down" ? Thus not sitting properly?
