Lowering springs on PASM 997S...
Yeah, looks like my car did "settle" a little, eh?
Well I must say, the H&Rs have been on my 997S for nearly 2 years and they have been great. I love the look and the ride is near-stock even after 2 years. I don't spend my weekends on the track but spirited canyon driving and some AutoX has been wonderful with the H&Rs.
Sure, PSS9's are on my future mod list, but for those nervous about H&Rs I wouldnt be...

Thanks for the assurance. I mean there are always going to be this debate. I on my last car had coilovers but my brother had the exact same car and did springs. I was jealous at first how easy and cheap it was for him to achieve the same look as I got. I had to contiunously adjust till i got to the right setting and height. I cost me an arm and a leg to do that. My ride was harsher than his and honestly I never changed the settings ever again. He after two years started to complain that he thought his shocks were starting to show wear in the ride comfort. He did not really know for sure. Other people I had asked who went just springs never complained and were fine.
Case in point:
For some, their shocks could prematurely wear and need replacement. For others they wont. Do the springs if you want a quick fix and if you are happy with them keep them. For those whose shocks fail later on, buy the bilstein--or now you can buy Rinnspeed and Techart which are PASM compatible, and be done with it. Either or, for some they wont have problems and will be happy, and for others they will need to replace later on and will happy again...
