Looks great! All you have to do now is to lower the car.

it would look great lowered- but I am scared to death about ruining the handling dynamics that the porsche guys have tuned (and I've paid a lot $$ for). to lower 3/4" would I only replace springs or do I need to do shocks too? If anyone has done it, feedback on affect on handling would be greatly appreciated.

I've always liked the Sport Designs and aerokit. Nice choice. 2nd on the lowering. It'll look clean and I think most the guys that have done any mods on this forum had done at least springs. Only issue is the lower lip, it'll be really low. But it will look nice......enjoy.

I think the GT3 997 aero kit is my all-time favorite to date on water cooled Porsches. Great look, and the wheels are a perfect match.

Exhaust sound is subjective of course - to me my Fabspeed is rough and throaty sounding (not the most pleasant sound) except between 5-6K RPM, then it screams like a high reving F1 car or Ferrari. while cruising on the freeway and applying a little throttle it sounds rough and throaty, not very pleasant- so I find myself taking it to 5-6K RPM a lot just to hear the engine scream (when the variocam kicks in). I get the feeling Fabspeed is more geared towards free flow than sound tuning.

I have to say though I like the Tubi sound better, higher pitched but more Ferrari/F1 sounding across more of the rev range. AWE is more civilized and they do a lot of research on sound. The PSE with the cat bypass switch should in theory give good performance gain.

I have the Fabspeed exhaust along with the Suncoast headers. When I added the headers it improved the quality of the sound quite a bit. I get compliments about how good the car sounds. Just got the sport cats. Supposed to get them installed on Tuesday but tempted to do it myself this weekend.

i dont mind the rough and throaty sound. i just want it to be louder, without being annoying.
i do agree the AWE was very refined, almost too "stock" sounding.
i just want to avoid having to install both the fabspeed and pse to find out which one i like.
my friend has the pse so i guess i can try to just install the fabspeed and listen side by side.
btw i have headers, and cold air intake too.
i think if you change the headers or cats you might like the sound better.i was always under the impression that the headers or cats dont change any sound.
congrats on the car again and great mods!!

You have nothing to worry about when it comes to lowering your car if you do it right...just watch that front lip Seriously, dropping your car will complete the package IMO.

I have 11,000 miles on my Fabspeed mufflers and the sound has changed very little but it is starting to get a little rasp to the sound and it sounds really good now.
