My question remains, should the iPod be charging after one removes the key? Much thanks for any feedback!

There is a config menu where you can set the ipod charging time (after the system is off).

Question iPod charging by Dension

Thanks mishef.

I thought from 2.02 onwards, the feature (to be able to set the iPod charging time) has been eliminated? I remember this was one of the side effects of the upgraded interface, that the system now either charges or stops charging the iPod, and we have no control over it.

I certainly cannot find the charge time option anywhere in 2.05.

An update to anyone following this issue; Dension is going to release an updated docking cable to fix the charging bug on the Touch/iPhone sometime next month.

We have it fixed now. If you are using the touch and have charging issues, just email me. We expect a new cable in stock in about two weeks that should resolve this issue. eric@bumperplugs.com Thanks.

Eric,

Can you point to a post that describes the functionality under the latest patch? I can manipulate the system via the right **** and scroll menu, but I think there are some things that I'm not aware of and didn't know where to look (the manual is obviously not much use).
