NEED HELP: San Diegans

Hello.

Sorry to post in the general 997 thread, but i can't seem to find any regional forums. I'm in the market for a 997S, and would love if a fellow member can take me for a ride in one sometime this week.

If you're in San Diego, and have a 997S, with or without mods, please let me know. I pay in pints of beer = )

thanks !

997 S test drive

Kevin- I am happy to go on a cruise with you in my 997 S. My car is a well optioned 06' Carrera S coupe with no mods. I live in Carmel Valley and my office is near UTC. Email me at nick.psyllos@cbre.com and we can set something up.

Nick

Alain,

Thanks for the offer. I'm so jealous you got Johnny's old car. I was browsing through the FS section and ended up PMing him to offer him on the car but ended up realizing that the car was sold = ) It was a great deal.

I will be meeting up with Nick (73Euro911S) during lunch today for a ride/greet/possible lunch. Would you like to join us? We plan to meet up at the parking lot of SEARS at UTC around noonish. Shoot me your # if you want to come with

RAJA -

FOB is used the same way, but from Taiwan. = )

Alain - Sorry you couldn't make it today. Shoot me a PM with your email address, I'd like to get the San Diego members together in the near future if people are interested.

I had the pleasure of driving 73Euro911S (Nick)'s car today during lunch. The design, engineering, attention to details, refinement is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the 996. It seriously makes the 996 feel like a stepping stone from the 993->997. In fact, you almost feel like the 996 wasn't even an official 911 release.

Don't get me wrong, the 996Turbo I had was addicting in terms of power and torque, but the 997 is just that much better. With that said, M5 still up for sale. Currently listing for 68k negotiable (within reason).

Thanks for everyone that chimed in. Since this thread is already made, if you are from San Diego, and you would like to be included the next time we meet up, please PM me your email address and contact information.

thanks !

Don't forget the Carlsbad meet every last saturday of the month. Pretty fun. But someone should start a SD forum
