This is just BS estimated. It takes more than horsepower to reach these speeds... there is serious technology involved in making the car safe and stable at these speeds.

That Competition Coupe is set-up for land speed competition/advertising for Hennessey. I doubt it actually did 275mph on a course, but it likely did in a dyno scenario. The jack stands that come out from the bellypan of that car are really cool.

Anthony 98 GTS is infamous around these parts

It is the Hennessey Shop Comp Coupe TT. I think it ran 228 in the mile and has the HP/weight/aerodynamics to run at that top speed........although I don't think it has done it.

...regardless, it is a bad *** ride.........
