Pardon my viper ignorance, but on all these 1000HP twin turbo vipers are the internals forged? or is the stock engine strong enough just to strap on the turbos and crank the boost up? What kind of boost are you running to see that high HP?

 

Very nice, don't see too many stock Vipers anymore...

 

Internals are forged,bored, stroked and boosted 6-12psi.

Looks like a whole lot of insane cars though. I'm sure the last 60-130 was just a portion of the amount of sick cars at the nationals.

 

96-99 had forged internals and are capable of handling up to that 1000 mark but its pushing it. a few have done it with success but most will do a fully built motor to go above the 900rwhp mark to be safe.
