Anyone daily drive a Z06?

Trying to figure out what to get for my next DD. I don't really think of myself as a Vette guy, but I've really been drawn to these lately.

What do you guys think?

I drive mine daily in the summer. It is my first Corvette and I love it. There are few cars in the world I would trade for it.

Drive mine every (sunny) day.

With your roads and general lack of rain in Cali, no trouble.

You've got to be easy on the go-pedal in the wet - it's no TT.

It's a pussycat on the street compared to anything nearly as fast.

Yea my good friend in college, just graduated, drove one as his DD at school and loved it. The only thing he complained about was having to watch where he parked because most kids are morons and swing their doors into it even moreso than at the grocery store.

I know of plenty of people who DD their C5Z, but yet to see anyone do so with a C6Z. I'm still yet to have a good amount of time with the C6Z, but cant imagine it being much different.

That's because there is still a huge stigma with the C6Z. Once people realize it's a normal car that they produced a million of people will start daily driving them more.

Z's are cool, don't get me wrong, but they are definitely nothing special.

I totally agree with you, they're built pretty much like every other GM (with the exception of a few things) and no matter how powerful they may become, I will always see it as an average joe's sports car (not taking anything away from anyone that has one).

Oh no joke. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.

I got into this one girls Cavalier the other day and after looking around I was like "hmm this interior feels oddly familiar"....oh wait it's the same interior my Z has LMAO.

Compared to what? Compared to my car, which sucks? Hell yeah.

Compared to anything German/Italian in the last 10 years, not really.

IMO, the C6Z isn't a giant step up from the C5Z - 4LZ package (2008) notwithstanding.

Also IMO, the Porsche interiors aren't anything to write home about (for the money).

Lambo and Ferrari have interiors that = the price you pay for the car.

$.02
