If I owned a vette I would sell it as soon as I knew I was driving a rental car!!!! Why would GM tarnish their icon in such a way?????

There are many 'exotic' rental car companies. I guess the fact that it's a mainstream company is why you feel that way.

The wheels and the paint combined make it look tacky. I love vettes but this is over the top.

It probably will be a steal, a one year old rental with 60K miles and exclusive striping, free curb rash and as a bonus strange noises from the drivetrain.

Don't forget the bad tires, fart ridden seats, ragged out motor, hmmmm I think this could be a thread in of itself ... ok everyone chime in; things that will be wrong with the Hertz vette

Stolen badges, even the factory warranty will be voided, rental stickers on the back, etc.
