First vid: ZO6 vs GTR!
I will glady race a GTR from a roll ... with my HOOSIERS
Really though I look forward to racing one from a dig, I know how to drive the Z from a dig
Everyone knows these times were BS and there are real world track times that confirm GTR can't keep up with GT3 and/or Z06. Even the most hardcore GTR fanboys are starting to realize that the infamous Nurburgring times were achieved with highly tuned GTR's, not the "street detuned version" that customers are getting.

it blows my mind how people can make these type of assumptions and have no proof from the manufacturers. "the plane the plane"

stop wasting time trying to manifest a wish thru self ignorance.
One GT-R made it to Summit Point today but did not compete. Beautiful car in person, most comments were positive including the ones from Vette owners, mostly due in part to it' s Porsche inspired engineering and lap times. That said the owner of the GT-R commented to me that he is sure a z06 will outrun it on the street but is confident that it will hold it's own on the track. He will 'track' the GTR as soon as it's been outfitted with a roll cage. I will be sure to post video when he does.
pure ignorance.
thats just like saying. with porsche buying the GT-R to disect it. the porsche will now be GT-R inspired. or the same goes for chevy since they will be buying them a gt-r to disect as well
just cant manage to give NIssan or the GT-R credit without a backhanded remark can you?

I wonder how much boost they can hold. I would not be suprised if they can be boosted into the 600 range with ease. The 2JZ cars were slow out of the box but add some boost and some good fuel and they are monsters. We will have to see.......
No kidding. And the video of him in the using the launch control during the race, didn't look like the same launch that the silver one used at the end....
pure ignorance.

There is plenty of proof, some people just wish to remain ignorant. GTR was loosing to Z06's and GT3's at every track at One Lap of America 2008. These results clearly prove that GTR is not on the same level as Pagani Zonda or Porsche Carrera GT when it can't even outlap a 996 GT3

again, stop the ignorance. the GTR started to get delivered last week(a couple were out but not being publicly tested), how could their be "plenty of proof"? I know there was a GTR at One Lap so what, driven by who?. How long had the ZO6 and GT3 owners had to track and adapt to their particular cars in comparison to the GTR(owner)?
The whole idea about not being able to outlap a 996 GT3 is !absurd!
Take those hating shades off, they're destroying all of your credibility.
