The numbers are out, ZR1 0-60 1/4 times!!!

Nope, your right. The ZR1 weighs about 200 pounds more then a ZO6. Wait until a GOOD driver gets ahold of a ZR1. I predict 10.80's.Originally Posted by SpeedLimit?
The ZR1 actually gained a couple, I believe the 3300-3400lb range (Z06 31-3200?) with all the additions made to the car to cope with the extra power. But I thought the shorter gearing would've gave the advantage at that speed, correct me if im wrong guys.
I think these are a little closer to the numbers we all expected, http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...est/index.html

Beat me to it!! Those #'s reflect a much stronger car. A lot closer to what we are going to see at the track.Originally Posted by SpeedLimit?

Tom
I did some reading on the CTS-V, and GM's developed a new program that holds boost for a second between shifts as long the driver doesn't lift. That's what they mean by "Power Shifting", which is the name of the program.
This thing will be a beast with only a pulley...

Actually, the CTS-V manual version has a no-lift full throttle feature. You just keep your foot into the go-pedal and the car takes car of the rest! Cool stuff.
there are guys in Allentown, pa area with zo6's running 11.3, to 11.7 's(505hp) out of the showroom on street tires, that new zr1 with a set of drag radials should be in the high to mid 10's, easily....a lot more hp also
