Just had the oil changed 2k miles ago, current mileage 24,540. There is a tapping sound more like a hollow knocking noise coming from the engine. I am taking to Chevy tomm. Any idea what it could be. The oil level is normal and the viscosity feels fine. I did not kick it today and never red line shifts. I am worried that maybe a rod/piston is damaged ?
