Okay germeezy: contact John Fink through his wife - tammyfink@mchsi.com

he owned half of Del Worsham's Funny Car team and now has a piece of Tim Wilkerson's; he can direct you to a medium block 7,800 HP that ought to blow away most of your buds.

Always happy to help.

If you really mean this get a gen2 and take it and a lot of $$$ to an experienced tuner - by the time he gets done with the blower and nitrous and etc. you'll have your 900HP+. Saw one of these at the Lake Mary, Fl. exotic car show last month; it was unbelieveable.

You don't need nitrous with a blower on a viper to get 900hp. When I had my paxton car it had over 900 at the wheels with no nitrous. My turbo viper does more than that on low boost.

I wouldn't argue with that; I have an acquaintance with a turboed 06 Vette who says he has the paper showing 1250hp; don't remember if its F or W. Will post his web site with specs when I locate it.

Don't listen to the people that don't own these cars when they say it's too much power for a DD. It is as docile as you let it behave. Driving a s/c Viper isn't any different than a stock one unless you're on the throttle. And a Viper isn't any less daily drivable than a vette.

There will be people like me who say that you can DD it b/c it's not uncomfortable and it is a blast to drive, even slow. Then there will be people like 997 rolls that says it's not the best choice for a DD. That should show you right there that it's more about personal preference and what you want.

BTW, if you're going to get a tune, DC is where it's at in your area. I have a mail-order tune from them and they will work with you until it's where it needs to be. And I put down 700rwhp (dynojet) safely on a stock motor.

I'd love one for a daily, but I couldn't drive it for a good part of the winter here, too nasty. I've never read anything bad about their reliability, I'd say go for it!
