The blank stare is pretty common when I tell people what it is.

Very nice build with great attention to detail. I too did the Monaro conversion on my car a few years back. I love and get compliments every time I drive her.

Mine and my brother's Monaros:

Love it! I really like those wheels. Been trying to find a local to Seattle Monaro conversion to do a photoshoot with.

So why did the engine go boom?

I like the Commodore kit, I think I want to go with a GXP front end on mine. My car came from out of state and has a retarded front plate on it, yet NC is a no front plate state!

My car put down 360/370 to the wheels with RotoFab intake, Corsa cat back and SLP long tube headers - otherwise its bone stock.

I'm thinking 09+ CTS-V satin graphite black finish and 09+ CTS-V front brakes for my car are the next things I'll do.

Both engine builders who looked at the motor point to Rod Failure. Nothing else obvious that caused it. Possibly a flaw in the rod itself.

I like the GXP front end better than the GT, especially if painted similar to the HSV GTS Front end, the lower center under the grill black.

Those are some good numbers for those mods! I was 353/350 with the same except Kooks Long Tubes.

Those are some nice wheels. What colors is your car?

She came home, for the night, today!

Here is a sneak peak from the dyno!!

464rwhp and 421ft lbs. The torque should be higher, but you sure have to love the torque curve!!! She drives like an animal! WOT when she hooks is amazing, and no joke, it sounds like a Nascar. So different than the previous set up.

The serpentine belt started to shred tonight, so the drive got cut short. New one on tomorrow.

Yes, Evoke Grey Metallic is the Aussie name for Magnetic Grey Metallic.

I saw lots of pics of the three HSV's on Power Tour. Wishing Power Tour was a little closer to me.
You must be talking about Crazy Paul! Paul is an amazing resource and has helped me a ton with getting my car into it's current condition. He is on GRRRR8.net.

Paul... yeah that's it. I ordered some HRT polo's and HSV flags from him last year. It took awhile for him to get the items in, but now my garage is decked out in flags from down under.

Wonder if I could get an HSV mag ride suspension setup from him.... hehe.

If anyone could get it, Paul can! Except for W427 parts. They are impossible to get.
