My Super Snake made the cover of 5.0 mag
SubscribeWell this caught me by surprise, I didn't know I was going to be on the cover. I was happy with my car just being in a magazine. It took forever it seem to get my first copy because my parents had to mail it to me in Afghanistan. Here is the link to the article.

Follow up on the car right now, The car is running at the Oct Texas mile next month. Due to me being stuck in Afghan this time I will not be able to run the car. The last time we ran the car we were dealing with the car running hot. So we did a few thing to help it stay cool.
Mods,
-Installed a NX system to spray a 75 shoot
-CF Sparco steering wheel is being installed
-Rear view deletes, still need to be powder coated
-Lithium Ion batterie is relocated to the glove box, that way we can add a intercooler box where the batterie was.
-Running the LC KB 3.6 supercharger fluid to the radiator fluid.
-New Griggs front suspension so we can slam it down a few more inches.
-New Hoosiers that will be a inch taller
New Dyno numbers in a few weeks, I'll keep you guys posted.

whats the gt run in the 1/4? the z?
I love them both about the same, The Shelby has that cool muscle car feel and alot of people always come up to it a the races to tell me how sick the car looks. But my Z has about the same HP and is way lighter, my Z walks the Shelby from 60. Originally Posted by V - 996tt

My Z runs around mid 9's in the 1/4, but i have only be down the track about 4 or 5 time to get that time. I am sure with a few more passes it would run a low 9 sec pass. Havent got to run the SS right now in the 1/4, once it hits 200mph in the mile we are going to put a TH400 in it with a nice set of Bogarts. With the power i am at and if the car hooks, it should be right around a 8.9 or 9.0 1/4.

BIG Congrats. The car looks amazing and it definitely looks like a thrill to drive.
Congrats. I cant imagine how that monster must sound.
Looks really good! You lucky SOB to own a Shelby and a Vette! Wish I could have kept mine...as it was same color as yours...however i could only swing a regular vette not a Z. What a beast!
Are you on tour in Afghanistan, if so I offer my support to the troops and we all appreciate you fighting for the free world to get rid of terrorism and oppression *salute*
