You need to drop the compression to keep 'em from going blammo. Most of the early kits just tossed them on to an otherwise stock engine, which was rather silly.

My friend DDs his to the tune of 13K miles per year. Roads are mostly good. A Porsche is a more exclusive car but you don't get absolute bragging rights. The vette is a world-class car but too common for me. You need to ask yourself what's the most important thing you want from the car: performance?, looks?, brand?, ability to mod?, warranty or no?

i'm going to disown you as a friend if you get the Z06, if you really wanna just track the car, have you looked at the Lotus Exige? its very Exotic and yet a perfect Corner car... plus very rare up here than those Z06...

**** off lol.....you wanted me to get the z06 on MSN....stop posturing for the 6speedcrowd :P

i thought about the lotus, but it doesn't have the retarded grunt of a tuned turbo.

what will probably happen is this:

1) Ariel Atom supercharged
2) if i can plate an ariel atom in ontario...996TT or if i can scrape into a GT2..we'll see....eiher way it'll have the **** tuned out of it.
3) if i dont get an atom and wind up with a turbo...i'll get an open wheel car for the track..because there is NO point in spending 80 grand on a GT3 and still having a car that needs prep to race. besides..who cares about wadding up a 10,000$ FF1600 car...buy 2 keep a spare in the trailer

No offense but I am soooo tired of these "i'm thinking about buying a z06" threads.... buy one, get the gold chain, get on with life.

I agree with all the above comments that Z06 is excellent buy. Also try the C6 as well. You 'll be surprise how good that car is as DD and track.

I have noticed many comments you make are pretty much asinine.

Joking around is asinine? I even threw in the typical "gold chain" comment that most people use. Did you not see the winking smiley face at the end? Go nitpick someone elses posts.

Ok I'll clear this up. You're only getting picked on because you suck at being funny. Your humor is lacking, well humorous content. Solid attempt but an absolute failure. So please, just stop.
